Ankle Length Kimono Style Robe - Sweet Silk Road
This is a kimono sleeve-style crossover robe with self-tie sash and inner tie. Knee-length.
I think it is beautiful alone or makes for a very pretty set when teamed with your favourite lounge pants. I have also seen this worn as outerwear with jeans and a tank (the sash tied in back... really, really pretty!)
This is made from a habutai silk fabric found during my travels in India. The pattern is a light, turquoisey blue with pink and whites mixed in. I have gifted this to wonderful friends as a bridal gift and a baby shower gift (post baby).
(Habutai silk is known as one of the softest silks. It was worn by geishas on the inside of their kimonos as they only wanted the very softest fabric next to their skin.)
